Definition: This report displays a list of students with invalid UICs. Use this report to verify that all of your students have matching records within the MSDS. Check with your UIC Resolver to fix student UIC and MSDS issues.
It is available on the CTEIS website, from the menu: Reports -> Building Reports.
Explanation of Columns:
Label
Description
CEPD
Career Education Planning District (CEPD) number. The district in which the student is enrolled.
Fiscal Agency
Name of the Fiscal Agency.
Building
Building in which student is enrolled in courses other than CTE.
Home Facility
Students' building in which the student is enrolled from.
UIC
Unique Identifier Code (UIC) is a unique 10 digit number used to identify a student. Used to match CTEIS Data to MSDS.
Student Name
First name and Last Name of the student taking a CTE course as it appears on a birth certificate, legal document, or enrollment form presented at time of enrollment.
MSDS Date
Indicates the date that the UIC is checked in the Michigan Student Data System(MSDS) system. If a student's UIC has been checked and found invalid, CTEIS does a second check in MSDS.
Exit Status
Two-digit code representing student's current status in school as reported by the district's to MSDS.
